OneBet summary position after 600 bets - ROI 16%, Profit 97 points

Dear all,

I thought I would take a brief moment to provide some context to the tips we have given to date.  Although only 3 weeks or so old, we have placed over 600 bets at a highly encouraging ROI of >16%.  Our target was always to be better than 10% and so this is a very healthy return over a relatively significant sample size of bets.

As well as putting our tips out, we are trying with the above table to give you genuine transparency as to how we are progressing.  You will see a number of sites promoting their big winners when they come along or highlighting they have made "20 points of profit this year".  However, if the tipster has placed 10,000 points worth of bets, do you really want to be risking your money on somebody who has only made 20 points of profit (0.2% ROI)?  As I have said, we are looking for over 10%.  In reality, over 5% long term will be a very successful return, but we hope to stay above the 10% line.

Today we are at 16%, which is 97 points profit.  i.e, at £10 a point, you would be £970 better off.

In our pursuit of 10%, we will constantly review the type of bets we place and determine whether the portfolio balance is appropriate.  Note - 96 bets is not a significant enough sample size for the currently unprofitable Daily Grind portfolio.  This service was in profit a week ago and a horror run of results will not prompt a knee-jerk reaction.........yet.

Value bet
This is clearly the Golden Goose currently.  The value bets represent our horse racing bets that cover most if not all main stream UK races available and priced up by major bookmakers on a given day.

The chart below summarises the progress to date, looking at profit totals at the end of each day

As you can see, the start was pretty sensational, since which time profits have levelled somewhat, but still continue to rise.  At over 20% ROI for the value bets alone, this is an excellent early profile.

Daily Grind
The service started fairly well and was on the right side of the line.  However, the 10 Premiership matches alone since Christmas went terribly for the service and leave us in a negative situation.  At less than 100 bets at this stage, we are a couple of bad weekends from being genuinely concerned and a couple of good weekends from being back in profit.  So, whilst a little uncomfortable with the current plight, it is a watching brief for now.

Tourney bets
Only 13 bets placed and a minuscule loss to date.  Nothing further to be added at this stage

We will provide these updates likely on a monthly basis.  If you have any comments, I would appreciate your input

Thanks

The OneBet team (Dave and Darren)
