copied and pasted from this morning,

Also a rule four of 30% on Amron Lad in the 16.55.

I only bet Haydock so didn't notice anything with the others.

Amron lad pts have been adjusted due to reduction in the pound.

    2. Understandable, but I assume you are using this blog to build a rep or whatever and having one figure in your points profit total and a different in your actual tips skews you roi etc.

For the purposes of your log i think it should be a 1pt bet

  2. Thanks for your comments, this is a free tips site and we are giving great value to our punters as demonstrated over the last 3 months. There is no attempt to increase our ROI or make ourselves look better than we are. We are a credible and transparent service that is built on offering value tips in a wide sporting arena, 1 pt is not going to make or break things in the grand scheme of things !

  3. Hi, there are actually two people contributing to the blog. I am the other contributor and have just read the comments above.

I think your challenges are entirely justified. The bet placed was a 2pt bet, but as it has been recorded in error at 1pt, we should only record it as 1pt for the purposes of officially recording results. If I consider the converse, we would be unlikely to change a losing 1pt bet to 2pts if we noticed the error.

So, a simple mistake, but nobody following our tips would care much to find that we meant 2pts, if they had only placed 1pt as formally advised.

We started the service in December 2011 and it is probable that we have made the odd error from time to time. We are learning and hopefully the site is ever evolving in to a better experience for readers. I appreciate your feedback regarding the results as it helps us to improve the way we verify and record results. Horse racing can be filled with vagaries - the place terms vary, the deduction in the pound can be a factor (sometimes not apparent until a very late withdrawal) and the difference between BOG bookies and non-BOG bookies in racing can make huge difference to the bottom line.

If you have any further suggestions as to any improvements we could make, I am happy to listen. We want to make this as complete a service as possible. If we are to take things further, this proving ground is as much about authenticity as it is actual quality of tips.

    Many thanks

    Dave (OneBet)
